Not only does she know what she's doing, but she also has fun doing it. My husband and I visited Chicago over Valentine's Day weekend, and we wanted a photographer to follow us around to all of our sentimental and favorite spots in the city, including the park where we got engaged. Amy seemed just as excited about this plan as we were! She was prompt and professional from the start and willing to do just about anything to make sure we were happy - including spending her Valentine's Day with us, which turned out to be 14 degrees and snowing. At one point, she literally laid in the middle of a snowy intersection in Wrigleyville to get a good photo, and she also gave us her cute furry hats to wear! She made us forget how cold it was outside, and it felt like we were just hanging out with an old friend all day. Plus, her husband was a huge help, very supportive, and funny! We would have given 5 stars on the experience alone, but then we got the photos, and they're GORGEOUS. She took HUNDREDS, and she did a fantastic job. Amy even gave me a dozen edited photos the same day so I could post a few on social media. I truly cannot say enough good things about Polston Photography. Amy photographed my daughter's Bat Mitzvah, and was with us before the service, at the luncheon, and at the kids' party at night. From the moment the day began until the last dance of the evening, Amy was ON!

She has a fabulous eye for detail, and quickly figured out who the "key players" in the crowd were, so we could focus on being with our guests and just having fun. I was so confident she was getting all the photos we needed, I didn't pull my iPhone out once, which for me is a big deal!!

The photos came quickly after the event, and were AMAZING! We sent out the link to the gallery and people were so happy to see the results. My sister hired her that night for my niece's Bat Mitzvah, and we will definitely use her again for our family events and photos.
